PUL-I-ALAM (Pajhwok): The Revenue Department of central Logar province has ordered the closure of 20 fuel stations who did not pay taxes for the last one year.
The department head, Wahidullah Miakhel, told Pajhwok Afghan News that there were 46 fuel stations in the province but 20 of them were closed for not paying their taxes.
“Our officers shut the fuel stations that refused to pay their taxes for the last one year,” he added, adding the fuel stations would stay closed until their owners cleared their arrears.
