MAIMANA (Pajhwok): The residents of Maimana, the capital of northwestern Faryab province, and seven districts have been without electricity for the past seven days due to clashes between Taliban and security forces.
Officials of Da Afghanistan Breshna Shirkat (DABS) say 67,000 families have been in darkness for the past one week and power supply line has been cut off at 580 points during the past one and a half years, inflicting millions of afghanis losses on the power utility.
