SHIBERGHAN (Pajhwok): Girl table-tennis players in northern Jawzjan province have asked the government to support them in promotion of the game as they have been struggling with shortage of equipment and other facilities.
Mashal Hashami, who heads the table-tennis federation in Jawzjan, told Pajhwok Afghan News 370 players, including 33 girls, were engaged in playing table-tennis in the province.
He called it a proud moment for Jawzjan that 15 and 7 players in the national teams comprising of total 50 players were the province.
