GHAZNI CITY (Pajhwok): At least four pro-government fighters have been killed as a result of a car bombing in the Muqur district of southern Ghazni province, an official said on Saturday.
Arif Noori, the governor’s spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News the bombing took place in the Chahar Deh area of the district on Friday night.
He said militants wanted to attack a public uprising group’s check-post with an explosives-packed vehicle but could not reach their target.
The security personnel recognised the suspected vehicle and opened fire at it . . .
