FARAH CITY (Pajhwok): Two key Taliban members have been killed in separate airstrikes in western Farah province, an official said on Tuesday.
Mohibullah Mohib, police spokesman, said that Mullah troops in Khak-i-Safid district on Monday evening.
He claimed the military commanders of the militant group planned to attack 20 provinces of the country, including Farah.
Meanwhile, a resident of the area confirmed the killing of Dawood along with one of his guards.
He said the militants came under attack while riding a motorbike. The Taliban have not yet commented on the airstrikes.
