FEROZKOH (Pajhwok): Residents of Ferozkoh City of western Ghor province are deeply concerned about lack of drinking water after water wells at homes dried up, forcing them to draw water from unprotected sources like rivers.
The residents say access to potable water has become difficult and the risk of contracting water-borne diseases is rising especially among children who travel long distance and wait for hours to fetch water home in jerry cans.
