KABUL (Pajhwok): Holding its first meeting after September 28 presidential election, the Council of Ministers was on Monday presented information about the ongoing fiscal year.
A statement from the Chief Executive Office said that the Cabinet meeting was chaired by Chief Executive Officer Abdullah Abdullah.
At the end of the third quarter of the fiscal year, 147 billion afghanis revenue has been collected and 20 development projects completed.
Another 456 projects were underway and 130 more projects were either halted or being under process at the Procurement Commission.
According to the statement, the Ministry of Economy provided information to the meeting regarding uplift projects of the fiscal year.
CEO Abdullah asked authorities concerned to be prepared for dealing with natural disasters in winter.
The Ministry of Sefence acknowledged that 505 security personnel have been killed in the past on week.
The ministry of transport also provided a detailed plan regarding the transportation system and safety of connectivity roads.
