KABUL) on Thursday said around 100 biometric devices have been missed and the number would probably turn higher.
Mirza Mohammad Haqparast, acting IEC spokesman told Pajhwok Afghan News that around 100 biometric devices have so far missed.
He said the figure was not final and the number of missed devices may increase.
The IEC would soon declare its decision regarding missed biometric devices, he added.
The presidential election held on September 28 and primary result of the poll was scheduled for October 19, but it was delayed for a week due to some technical problems in the process according to IEC.
The IEC said around 23,176 forms of digital results that contained the information of around 1.787 million voters have been processed in the central system.
IEC says, the process for separating clean votes from fraudulent ones would be started soon.
