The law was drafted for the management of railway network related matters in the country.
ObaidullahKalimzaiWardak, deputy head of the communication and transportation commission of the Wolesi Jirga, said the draft law comprised of 11 chapters and 58 articles landed in the house last year in late October.
He said the purpose of the law is the management of railway network related affairs, monitoring of construction work, maintenance and safety and other relevant matters to railway network in compliance with international standards.
