KABUL (Pajhwok): The power supply problem will be resolved with extension of a permanent transmission line to Kabul by Wednesday evening, authorities say.
Da Afghanistan Breshna Shirkat (DABS) said work on fixing a permanent power transmission line in Salang would be completed later in the day.
Last month, power supply to 11 provinces, including Kabul, was cut after a pylon was blown up in Salang area. The power utility later temporarily reconnected the power cables.
