KABUL (Pajhwok): Security forces have seized and defused an explosives-laden vehicle in western Farah province, Ministry of Interior (MoI) said on Friday.
In a statement, MoI said that the explosives-packed vehicle captured and defused by security forces during a special raid in Khairabad village of Farah City, the provincial capital.
The statement said the security forces had detained four suspects, including two women in connection with plot.
“The Taliban insurgents planed to carry out a terrorist attack in Farah City but it has been thwarted by security forces before the militants reach their target,” the statement added.
