Noor Rahman Akhlaqi, a member of the ‘Stability and Partnership’ electoral team led by Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Dr. Abdullah Abdullah, made the claim during a press conference in Kabul.
Akhlaqi said they believed around 300,000 invalidated votes still existed in the biometric system and the IEC was yet to come up with should a clear procedure about the votes.
He said 137, 000 votes had been invalidated and 100,002 votes had been cast before the official time.
He also said 700 biometric sets and memory cards went missing during the September 28 presidential election.
On the other hand, the IEC today announced starting recount and inspection process in 34 provinces tomorrow.
