KABUL Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) officials have warned further delay in the announcement of the presidential election result may harm businesses.
The presidential ballot was conducted on September 28 and the initial result was expected to be announced on October 29. But the election panel said the preliminary outcome would be unveiled on November 14.
Khan Jan Alokozay, the ACCI deputy head, told Pajhwok Afghan News that insecurity and delay in the announcement of the election result had put traders in trouble.
