ZARANJ (Pajhwok): The number of drug addicts in southwestern Nimroz province surged by 27.5 percent in 2019, compared with the previous year, officials said on Tuesday.
Officials and residents complained of multiple problems being created by the increasing population of drug addicts in the province.
The Department of Public Health and children, are addicted to different kinds of drugs.
Last year, the number of drug addicts in Nimroz was recorded at 12,000, including 600 women and children, reads a Pajhwok Afghan News report . . .
