HERAT CITY (Pajhwok): Forty persons, including 18 government officials, have been arrested over corruption charges and not paying customs taxes in western Herat province, an official on Wednesday.
Jilani Farhad, the governor’s spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News that the men were first recognized and then detained by National Directorate of security (NDS) personnel during the ongoing year.
