KABUL (Pajhwok): A district administrative head was killed along with three bodyguards after their vehicle was ambushed by suspected insurgents in Khost district of northern Baghlan province on Friday, police said.
The Warsaj district chief of neighboring Takhar province, Mohammad Afzal, was travelling in Palfi Kotal area of Baghlan’s Khost province when gunmen ambushed his vehicle at about 10am, said Baghlan police chief Wais Ahmad Samimi.
Mohammad Afzal was actual resident of Jalagi district of Baghlan province, said the police chief.
