4 notorious kidnappers arrested in Kabul

KABUL) on Sunday said a group of four kidnappers and armed robbers has arrested in seventh police district of capital Kabul.

A statement from NDS received by Pajhwok Afghan News said,  that the criminals were detained during an operation of special intelligence forces in the seventh police district of Kabul.

The source said that operation would continue for an indefinite period of time in the central region, particularly Kabul.

NDS identified the detained men as Hamid aka Changhis, leader of the group, Matiullah, known as Qari, Sadiqullah aka Sadiq Siya and Mohammed Ishaq, gang members.

According to the National Director Security, it was one of the most notorious criminal groups in Kabul, involved in the killing of seven people and wounding 42 others.

 The criminals had looted eleven shopkeepers and craftsmen in Kabul city, especially in the sixth and seventh police districts, the source said.

The statement did not mention the time of the arrest.
