GHAZNI (Pajhwok): An anti-corruption public attorney was killed in a gun attack on Monday afternoon in the provincial capital of southern Ghazni province, an official said.
The Nawa district primary attorney, Mohammad Hassan Halimi, who served in the provincial anti-corruption department, was gunned down by unknown assailants in Ganj area of Ghazni City in the afternoon, said the provincial governor’s spokesman.
Mohammad Arif Noor said the assailants fled the scene after killing Halimi along with his nephew.
No group has claimed responsibility for the assassination.
