KABUL and children were among the 900 Daesh -- Islamic State (IS) -- members who surrendered to the government in eastern Nangarhar province recently, a media report said on Monday.
Almost 900 people, including Islamic State fighters and members of their families -- most of them Pakistani nationals -- surrendered to the security forces in the past fortnight, people familiar with development said. The individuals included 10 Indians as well, The Hindustan Times reported.
The surrender occurred in Nangarhar, where the Afghan security forces are conducting operations against the IS . . .
