PESHAWAR (Pajhwok): A senior Awami National Party (ANP) leader has underscored the need for cordial relations between Pakistan.
ANP general secretary Mian Iftikhar Hussain told a party gathering in Nowshera district on Friday good ties should be restored with Afghanistan on a priority basis.
He also called for easing border restrictions, saying robust and cooperative relations with Afghanistan were in the best interest of the region.
If the situation on the border with India was not normal, he asked why the Imran Khan administration opened the Kartarpur Corridor and allowed Sikh pilgrims visa-free entry.
