Afghanistan struggle to beat India in 5th Youth ODI

<p><a href="/en/afganistan/kabul" class="glossify-link">KABUL</a> U-19 have outplayed their Indian counterparts in a low-scoring Youth One-Day International (ODI) series in Lucknow.</p>

<p>The visitors produced a disciplined effort to chalk up a two-wicket win over the opposition on Saturday, the Press Trust of India reported.</p>

<p>Despite the loss, India clinched the five-match series 3-2. Opting to bat first, the hosts were bundled out for 157 in 49.3 overs at the Ekana Cricket Stadium.</p>

<p>Vikrant Bhadoriya (29) and Kumar Kushagra (24) were the main scorers for India, with Noor Ahmad claiming three wickets. Abid Mohammadi and Shafiqullah Ghafari bagged two scalps each.</p>

<p>Afghanistan struggled to achieve the target of 158 for the loss of eight wickets in 47.3 overs. Asif Musazai shone with willow, hitting 42 runs off 77 deliveries.</p>
