KABUL (Pajhwok): The primary court of the Serious Crimes Judicial Centre acquits former Khost Governor Hukam Khan Habibi but convicted incumbent Khost City Mayor and three other officials of the Municipality in the funds embezzlement case on Monday.
Judge Sher Aqa Munib after an an open court hearing announced the verdict and said that the court acquitted form Khost Governor Hukam Khan Habibi in allegations leveled against him.
The judge, however, said Khost Municipality Employees Esmatullah sentenced to 12 year in jail, Mohammad Alef 14 years . . .
