MAIMANA (Pajhwok): Supporters of the ‘Stability and Partnership’ electoral team on Monday staged a protest rally in western Faryab province and asked the Independent Election Commission (IEC) to invalidate non-biometric votes.
The marchers emerged from Armaghan hotel in Maimana City, the provincial capital, and reached the IEC office. The protest ended with the release of a resolution letter.
The peaceful protestors chanted slogans “Death to fraud caravan, death to the IEC, death to Ashraf Ghani, we want the IEC to declare non-biometric votes as invalid . . .
