Afghan woman killed in fire at Greek refugee camp

KABUL (Pajhwok): An Afghan citizen died in a fire at a makeshift migrant camp on the Lesbos Island of Greece, a media report said on Thursday.

State-run news agency ANA-MPA reported the blaze broke out inside the container in which the woman lived with her husband and three children.

The 28-year-old man, who saved the children, was rushed to hospital where he is being treated for breathing problems.

Firefighters put out the flames before they engulfed next container at the Kara Tepe camp, which houses 1,324 refugees.
