15 trucks carrying Afghan onion enter Amritsar

KABUL entered the Indian state of Punjab on Sunday, a media report said.

Indo-Afghan trade resumed today after coming to a standstill due to a porters at the Attari Integrated Check-Post (ICP), the Tribune News Service reported.

The strike was called off as a result of successful talks between the protestors and authorities concerned. The central government also intervened on the issue.

Leaders of porters’ union said the Warehousing Corporation had engaged a company to clear their wages.
