Pro-government forces commander killed in Farah

FARAH CITY (Pajhwok): A pro-government forces commander has been killed and two of his bodyguards wounded in an insurgents ambush in western Farah province, an official said on Saturday.

Farooq Barakzai, the governor’s spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News that Abdul Majeed was killed in Deh Yak village in militants’ ambush.

Deh Yak is one of insecure area of Farah City the provincial capital.
