LASHKARGAH (Pajhwok): Eight Taliban militants, including two Pakistani nationals, have been killed in security operations in the Garmser district of the southern Helmand province, an official said on Monday.
Bahir Ahmadi, the Kandahar governor’s spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News intelligence operatives conducted operations in Lakari Bazaar, Khan Mohammad village and Tobi areas late on Sunday night.
He said two Pakistani nationals were among the eight insurgents killed in the overnight operations. At least two rebels were arrested.
