<p>GHAZNI CITY (Pajhwok): A dozen people, including <a href="/en/women" class="glossify-link">women</a> and children, were killed in a traffic accident in southern Ghazni province on Wednesday, an official said.</p>
<p>Munir Ahmad Bakhtiar, the Ghazni traffic director, told Pajhwok Afghan News the accident took place on the <a href="/en/afganistan/kabul" class="glossify-link">Kabul</a>-Kandahar highway Ab Band district when a car crashed into a truck at around 4pm today.</p>
<p>He said five men, three women and four children were killed in the collision.</p>
<p>Asadullah, a resident of the area, also confirmed the accident to Pajhwok but did not share details.</p>
