KABUL (Pajhwok): At least five civilians have been wounded and many houses damaged as a result of a blast in southern Kandahar province, an official said on Wednesday.
Police spokesman Jamal Nasir Barakzai told Pajhwok Afghan News the explosion targeted a security patrol on the 22nd road in the Aino Mena area of the provincial capital on Tuesday night.
According to initial information, the police spokesman said, five civilians were wounded in the blast.
