Taliban’s health director among 20 dead in Herat raid

HERAT CITY (Pajhwok): A Taliban official has been killed in the Gulran district of The Taliban’s The Taliban’s spokesman said on Thursday.

Jilani Farhad told Pajhwok Afghan News the Afghan Air Force conducted a raid in the Botan area of the district on Wednesday night.

He said Taliban’s public health director was killed along with two associates during the airstrike.

Jilani claimed at least 20 senior members of the militant group had been killed in security operations over the past one week in Herat.

The Taliban are yet to comment on the operation.
