TIRINKOT (Pajhwok): Around 950 displaced families received cash assistance from ZOA donor organization in central Uruzgan province on Wednesday, an official said.
Amanullah, ZOA director, told Pajhwok Afghan News that like other provinces hundreds of families had been displaced in Uruzgan from their homes to other places due to the ongoing conflict.
He said each family received 14,000 afghanis in two installments. He added the assistance and survey process was underway to provide further aid to the deserving families in near future.
