HERAT CITY (Pajhwok): The Provincial Council of western Herat province has questioned the Ministry of Interior (MoI)’s silence over the protest of drivers against their extortion by police.
Kamran Alizai, head of the Herat Provincial Council, told a gathering of protesting drivers that few days earlier, a delegation from Kabul arrived in Herat to address the problems faced by drivers but their visit yielded no result and the problem of drivers worsened.
