MAIMANA (Pajhwok): A 19-year-old married woman is likely to get both her legs severed through a surgical operation after enduring months of beatings at the hands of her in laws in northwestern Faryab province, officials and parents said on Sunday.
Presents of the young girl said her daughter was married a year back and since she was not allowed to meet her parents by her husband.
They claimed their daughter was always beaten and denied food for 20 days.
