GARDEZ (Pajhwok): Ten people including the police chief for southern Paktika province were injured after an Afghan National Army (ANA) crashed in neighboring Paktia province on Wednesday, officials said.
Paktika governor’s spokesman, Shah Mohammad Arian, told Pajhwok Afghan News the ANA helicopter crashed inside the Thunder Military Corps base in Gardez, the capital of Paktia province, in the afternoon.
“I and 10 soldiers were onboard, we all got injured but the police chief was not in the helicopter,” he said.
