Winds, poor visibility force closure of key highway

KABUL, has been shut for traffic due to strong winds and poor visibility.

Samiullah, the highway maintenance commander, told Pajhwok Afghan News on Thursday the key highway was closed last night to avoid possible mishaps.

In the winter, traveling the highway is dangerous for passengers due to heavy snow and cold weather.
