KABUL’s star leg-spinner Rashid Khan, playing for Adelaide Strikers against Sydney Sixers in a Big Bash League (BBL) match, has pulled off his third T-20 hat-trick.
The leggie, who removed James Vince, Jack Edwards and Jordan Silk, became the first Strikers’ bowler to pull off a hat-trick in the ongoing BB. He bagged four wickets for 22.
But despite Rashid’s outstanding spin bowling, the Sixers romped home with two wickets in hand. Josh Hazlewood smashed three consecutive boundaries to guide his side to victory.
The cricket website Sportstar reported that Tom Curran grabbed four scalps for 22 to restrict the Strikers to 135. But the strikers failed to capitalise on Khan’s heroic bowling figures.
