HERAT CITY (Pajhwok): Forty-five civilians have been killed and 15 others injured in an airstrike in the Shindand district western Herat province, local representatives said on Saturday.
Toryalai Taheri, deputy head of Herat Provincial Council, said that besides civilian casualties the Taliban Nangyalai and 16 other militants were killed and 10 others injured in the airstrike.
Wolesi Jirga Member Masoud Karokhi said that civilians have lost their lives and a village was demolished in the bombardment.
