Acting Attorney General Noor Habib Jalal, addressing a gathering on ‘Violence against Women’, here said that women should register complaints against those who subject them to violence in order to eradicate the menace.
He said women should say ‘no’ to discrimination and join voices against violence.
AGO Spokesperson JamshidRasouli said that 2,975 violent cases had been addressed so far this solar year. He said these cases were about sexual assault, beating, suicide and harassment and the perpetrators were tried and punished.
