JALALABAD (Pajhwok): Around 65 percent of schools have been destroyed in the ongoing conflict in the past few years in eastern Nangarhar province, officials said on Thursday.
Official say the school buildings were destroyed during exchange of heavy weapons between Taliban militants and Daesh rebels and security forces.
A number of schools, clinics, roads and people’s properties were either destroyed or damaged during the past five years in six Shinwari districts and as well as in Pachiragam and Khogyani districts.
