<p>KANDAHAR CITY (Pajhwok): Two armed attackers were killed after they gunned down a policeman and injured another in southern Kandahar province on Tuesday, an official said.</p>
<p>The incident took place in Herat Bazaar area of the 1<sup>st</sup> police district, where when two attackers opened fire at the policemen. The assault resulted in the killing of one policemen and injuring of another.</p>
<p>Police spokesman Jamal Naser Barakzai told Pajhwok Afghan News the two assailants were shot dead in retaliatory fire from policemen.</p>
<p>There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack.</p>
