5-day nationwide anti-polio drive from Monday

KABUL (MoPH) said on Sunday.

The campaign targets 9.1 million children in 30 provinces, said Public Health Minister Dr. Firozuddin Feroz, adding insecurity continued to deprive a number of children across the country of vaccination.

He said said Bamyan, Daidkundi, Ghor and Badghis were not included in the campaign this time due to cold weather.

He urged all people to cooperate with health officials during the five-day polio vaccination in order no child miss vaccination.
