KABUL prison during an operation in the Bala Murghab district of western Badghis province, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) said on Wednesday.
In a statement, MoD said the security personnel released in a raid on the Taliban-run jail in Bokan area. The released personnel included 55 ANA soldiers, four commandos and three policemen.
The statement said five insurgents were captured alive and several others wounded during the raid.
