MAIMANA (Pajhwok): The Taliban have dug huge ditches at several points on the Maimana-Andkhoi Road to create hurdles for security forces convoys, said drivers and an official on Tuesday.
Police spokesperson Abdul Karim Yourish told Pajhwok Afghan News the Taliban used heavy machinery to dig ditches on the Maimana-Andkhoi Road in Dawlatabad district.
The National Directorate of Security (NDS) also acknowledged the issue and said by doing so, the Taliban wanted to create barriers for security forces . . .
