KABUL Cup final.
Later in the day Wednesday, Afghanistan are all poised to take on hosts South Africa in their last match of the World Cup.
Batting first after winning the toss, Pakistan were bowled out for 172 runs as they lost wickets at regular intervals in the utterly one-sided match.
The defending champions chased the 173-run target with 88 balls to spare as Yashasiv Jaiswal cracked an unbeaten 105 from 113 balls, hitting eight fours and four sixes.
His partner Divyaansh Saxena made 59 of 99 balls. For his match-winning knock, Jaiswal was named man of the match.
The second semi-final will be played between New Zealand and Bangladesh on February 6.
