<p>KHOST CITY (Pajhwok): One policeman was killed and two others were wounded in a roadside bombing in southeastern Khost province on Saturday, an official said.</p>
<p>The explosion took place close to the Mechanical Institute in Khost City, the provincial capital, at around 11am. The blast targeted a police pick-up.</p>
<p>Police spokesman Adil Haidar told Pajhwok Afghan News one policeman was killed and two others were wounded. The injured are said to be in stable condition.</p>
<p>A private hospital doctor said that a dead body and an injured policeman had been brought to the medical facility from the blast site.</p>
<p>There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the bombing.</p>
