KABUL (Pajhwok): Chief Executive Officer Abdullah Abdullah on Saturday hoped the presidential election’s final result would be announced in line with rules and regulations, saying the Afghans exercised their right to enfranchise to protect their culture and end the ongoing conflict.
The CEO expressed these views at a gathering marking 579t birth anniversary of Amir Ali Shernawi and 537th birth anniversary of Zaheeruddin Mohammad Babar, the founder of the Mughal Empire.
Members of parliament, ministers and ambassadors of foreign countries attended the event.
