KABUL (Pajhwok): Another two Ministry of Defense (MoD) generals have been suspended and referred to the Attorney General Office (AGO) over corruption charges, a source said Tuesday.
A MoD official, who wished to go unnamed, told Pajhwok Afghan News that the individuals included Afghan National Army (ANA) 111th division commander Maj. Gen. Shirin Shah Kohbandi and ANA commando 1st brigade commander Brig. Gen. Abdul JabarWafa.
The two generals had been recognized and accused of corruption by the CID and introduced to the AGO for further investigation . . .
