US, Taliban asked to share peace deal details with Afghans

KABUL.

Members of the coalition told held a press conference in Kabul that the peace deal with the US and the Taliban had reached the final stage, but the people of Afghanistan remained in dark about the deal’s details.

Mashal Roshan, a member of the women coalition for peace, said besides sharing details of the possible deal with the Afghans, they should be given their due share in the peace process.

She said it was not known as to what level the Taliban would reduce violence as part of their peace agreement with the US, urging the international community to seriously review the Taliban-US peace deal and withdrawal of foreign forces from Afghanistan.
