KABUL base has been destroyed in southern Ghazni province, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) said on Wednesday.
A statement from the ministry said Afghan Special Forces destroyed the militant base during an operation in Maqur district on Tuesday night.
An arms depot, a bomb-making factory, two drug-processing laboratories and a militant-run jail, were also destroyed, the MoD statement added.
Some explosives, two motorcycles, a vehicle, military equipment and uniforms were also seized during the overnight operation.
