JALALBAD (Pajhwok): Unidentified gunmen have shot dead a senator’s brother along with two guards in eastern Nangarhar province, an official said on Wednesday.
Attaullah Khogyani, the governor’s spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News the incident took place in the Rokhani area of Jalalabad, the provincial capital, on Tuesday evening.
He said the gunmen opened fire on Roohullah Babakhel, a brother of Meshrano Jirga member Lutfullah Babakhel, along with his two guards.
Khogyani said Babakhel, who was also a trader, succumbed to his wounds . . .
